I'm inside my last year of full-time working. I'm due to retire from this all-consuming job next June. Until then, I think I should accept the difficulty of getting my head into long writing. By the time I get my head in the right space to work - and my thoughts aligned - I have run out of time.
So - short form writing is the way forward. Poetry and prose.
