Well - obviously the whole notion of working and writing is more difficult than I thought it would be…
I like the confidence of thinking that I would be able to work full-time in an all-encompassing job and have the energy to think about something else. It turns out that I can’t - and that I can only just remember to be nice to my (every long suffering) wife.
However.
I have just finished a major project - something I have been working on since 2016 - and so think that I might, with hard work and planning, be able to write again.
I have spent my Easter holiday reading through some of my writing and have been pleasantly surprised. There are a number of good ideas there, I believe, and I enjoyed meeting the characters again.
So - back at it now...
